You must guarantee your reservation at the time of booking. All non-guaranteed apartments will be released 3 days after initial enquiry. You can guarantee your accommodation by paying a minimum of 20% of the total cost as a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
Payment can be made by debit card, credit card, cheque (UK only) or bank transfer. Payment by credit card will incur a 2.5% charge. If paying by cheque or bank transfer, Glan-y-Bala Holidays must receive payment within 7 working days after booking. We may not be able to keep the accommodation reserved if payment is late or if cheques are dishonoured.
All reservations are subject to availability and must be for a minimum of 2 nights or, during high seasons, a minimum of 7 nights running from Saturday to Saturday, unless previously arranged with and agreed to by Glan-y-Bala Holidays.
Reservations can currently be made up to 12 months in advance.
Glan-y-Bala Holidays currently accepts payment by cash, debit/credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Switch/Maestro, Solo/Electron), cheque (UK only) or bank transfer. Payment by credit card will incur a 2.5% charge.
Outstanding balances are payable upon arrival along with a refundable Security Deposit which is payable in cash or by debit card.
A refundable Security Deposit is required per apartment to safeguard against accidental damage/breakages to the apartment and/or its contents. This deposit is payable upon arrival in cash or by debit card without exception.
The apartment will be checked on the date of your departure and, provided no damage/loss to the apartment and/or its contents has occurred, the deposit will be refunded to you in full via the same method of payment.
Apartments are available from 3.00pm onwards on the date of arrival, unless previously arranged with and agreed to by Glan-y-Bala Holidays. If you are likely to arrive after 6.00pm on your arrival date, you should inform us of your estimated time of arrival.
Your apartment must be vacated by 10.00am on the date of departure. Uunless previously arranged with and agreed to by us, failure to vacate the accommodation by 12 noon on the date of your departure will result in additional charges up to and including the cost of one nights' accommodation.
If you cancel a guaranteed accommodation you will be liable for the full amount of the booked apartment less any deposit already paid.
If you have not arrived by 10.00pm on your date of arrival and have not contacted, advised or otherwise made prior arrangements with Glan-y-Bala Holidays regarding your arrival, you will be considered as a "No Show". As such, you will not be entitled to any form of refund for monies already paid and you will be liable for any & all outstanding balances owed. Failure to arrive within 24 hours after your agreed arrival date will result in the apartment being released and you will be liable for the full ammount of the booked accommodation.
You are strongly advised to take out Guest First UK Holiday Insurance to cover costs in the event of cancellation or unforeseen circumstances.

We can provide cots (2 max), high chairs (2 max) and a stair guard (Padarn apartment only) free of charge and subject to availability, but must be requested at time of booking.
All apartments are strictly non-smoking. Persistent offenders may be asked to vacate the accommodation without refund or compensation, in part or in full.
Although we make every possible effort to accommodate your personal requirements, all apartments are subject to availability. We apologise in advance if your particular requests cannot be met.

A booking of 2 accommodations or more is considered a group booking. If the apartments have been booked separately for the same period or event (eg: weddings, parties, etc.), Glan-y-Bala Holidays reserves the right to enforce group booking Terms & Conditions to those bookings regardless of the booking channel used to book.
A minimum payment of 30% of the total cost is payable upon booking as a non-refundable deposit which is required to guarantee your accommodations. If paying by cheque or by bank transfer, we must receive payment within 7 working days of booking, after which period if payment has not been received or cheques have been dishonoured, non-guaranteed accommodations will be released.
Outstanding balances must be paid on or before your arrival date. If paying by cheque or by bank transfer, we must receive payment of all outstanding balances within 7 working days prior to your arrival, or by paying for your accommodation in full when you make your reservation up to 7 days prior to arrival. If payment has not been received or cheques have been dishonoured, non-guaranteed accommodations will be released.
Reservations for apartments are non-transferrable and must not, under any circumstances, be sold or otherwise transferred to a third party who is not a member of your group. You must not advertise, market, or otherwise offer any accommodation, in whole or in part, for sale either on its own or as part of a combined offer.
You are responsible for any damage caused to the allocated apartments and any furnishings & fittings of Glan-y-Bala Holidays. If any act, default or neglect by the guests or organisers results in damage or complaints from other guests, the customer shall be liable to pay to Glan-y-Bala Holidays on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.
In the event of wilful or negligent interruption to the business or to other customers, Glan-y-Bala Holidays will charge the amount of any loss to the business and/or other customers and terminate the contract immediately. Glan-y-Bala Holidays will not be liable for any loss, refund or compensation of any kind in such circumstances.
Guests are welcome to explore the 7-acre grounds however, proper walking footwear is required as the slate and moss can be slippery under foot. Ample private parking is available within the grounds. Glan-y-Bala Holidays does not accept any liability for injury to guests, nor damage to or loss from guests' vehicles whilst on the property.
Well behaved pets are permitted, but owners are expected to keep them under control at all times, and also to clear-up any mess left behind by them.
Secure wi-fi is available free of charge but its service, supply nor coverage can be guaranteed and does not form part of any contract with us for the supply of services.
