Snowdon Mountain Railway First proposed in 1869 after a branch line from Bangor to Llanberis had been completed, stiff opposition from the landowner Mr George William Duff Assheton-Smith of the Vaynol Estate, thought that a railway would spoil the scenery. It doesn't spoil the scenery - it makes it more accessible.

Electric Mountain - Dinorwig Power Station Commissioned in 1984, Dinorwig Power Station is highly regarded all over the world. Imaginative engineering & environmental achievements combined with it's dynamic response capability & operational characteristics are still acknowledged the world over. It's the largest scheme of its kind in Europe with 16km of underground tunnels, it can come on-line in under 12 seconds, and St. Paul's Cathedral could fit inside it's main turbine chamber!

The peak of Snowdon Mountain Walk up Snowdon is the most comprehensive on-line guidebook for walking routes up Yr Wyddfa in Snowdonia (It’s Never Mount Snowdon). With free walking maps and full guides to all the routes to the summit of Snowdon it’s the only website dedicated to walking routes up Snowdon. Snowdon, at 1085 metres in height is the tallest mountain in Wales and has a number of varied walking routes to the summit.
